HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN ARTWORK ISSUED IN A LIMITED AND NUMBERED EDITION OF 50. A couple of elephants, created by Gio Ponti for the Porcellane Fantasia series. A sculptural group reissued by Ginori 1735, faithful reproduction of the original with “Scottish decoration”, defined as such by the Maestro in a 1927 letter. Paperweight in graded multi-coloured porcelain, hand-painted in a chequerboard pattern with 24k gold details, issued in a numbered and limited edition.
